How do I create a link in my bio?

I read in another thread that html tags work in comments and critique. This does not seem to be the case in my bio (About tab). This:

<a href="http://charliewhitfield.photography">www.charliewhitfield.photography</a>

...does not resolve to a link. I've seen links in other members bios. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

(Edit: Apparently the forums detect an address and create the link automatically. But that doesn't happen in my bio.)

Hi Charlie,

Here's how to do it.

When you're in Edit on your About page, highlight the words first. In your case, highlight "www.charliewhitfield.photography"

Put your cursor on the highlighted words and right-click them (I'm pretty sure it's a right-click. On my laptop, I use two fingers to tap the touchpad).

A menu should open. Select "Insert/Edit Link."

In the URL link field, enter "http://www.charliewhitfield.photography" and in the Target field, select "Open Link in New Window."

Then click Insert and Save presentation.

Hope that works for you.

Peeked into this topic, and tried it myself. That works like a charm, Mandy. Thanks!

A belated thanks Mandy! I must have wandered off on some photo excursion after posting this (oh yeah, it was the John Muir Trail)...
